Anime Spring 2020 Delays

The Coronavirus has changed a lot in such a short amount of time. We have went from carrying out our daily routines, to panic buying, frantic webMD symptom searching, and losing our minds due to stay at home orders. Most people have turned to any form of entertainment we could find, even getting back into old hobbies just to maintain our sanity while stuck at home. Unfortunately for those of us who have chose to pass time by binge watching and picking up new shows, we might experience some big let downs.

A lot of people were looking forward to what the anime industry had in store for us this spring 2020. After hearing about the plethora of new shows and movies that were scheduled to come out this year, people got pretty excited. That excitement came to an abrupt halt, due to COVID-19 being the real star of the show

Some anime production company’s often release new seasons and series, while still working on voice overs for a couple of those episodes. With the quarantine still going on, a lot of voice actors are not able to record until further notice, although Funimation is allowing some actors to record from home. Mangas and magazines have taken a little hit as well. Such as the popular magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump“ who had to postponed their 21st issue by a week. Even series that were scheduled to release during summer/fall are getting pushed back. Listed below are some of the latest announced delays.
