New York musician Nico Jaar dropped an hour-long mix for the anniversary of John Lennon’s death. The slightly haunting mix features snippets of John Lennon interviews over jazzy pianos and smooth, laid-back overtones; giving off an almost loungy feel. The mix almost suddenly switches to trance infused melodies accompanied by eerie drumbeats with the heavy synths taking over at the forefront.
Perhaps this is what hanging out with John Lennon was ACTUALLY like; a little scary, just a tad bit epic but really peaceful when everything’s said and done.
