Remembering The Godfather of Marvel

Creator of Marvel franchises, Stan Lee passed away on November 12, 2018. He was well recognized for creating iconic super heroes and written works such as, “Spider-Man,” “X Men,” and “The Incredible Hulk.”

Stan Lee also created, “Ant-Man,” “The Mighty Thor,” “Daredevil,” “Iron Man,” and “Fantastic Four,” where the actress Jessica Alba did a role in the film. She took to Instagram to thank Stan Lee. “Taking a moment to thank the great @therealstanlee for his kindness and it was a huge honor to be part of your universe. The experience I had on #fantasticfour playing #suestorm #invisiblewoman was so meaningful as a young actress and made a huge impact on me. We will miss you #StanLee #Legend #Excelsior.”

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also honored Stan Lee. “No one has had more of an impact on my career and everything we do at Marvel Studios than Stan Lee,” Feige said. “Stan leaves an extraordinary legacy that will outlive us all. Our thoughts are with his daughter, his family and the millions of fans who have been forever touched by Stan’s genius, charisma and heart.”

Stan Lee started his career as an assistant at Timely Comics. Later he became an editor then publisher and his career grew spontaneously from there, allowing him to own his first entertainment company name POW!

One of Stan Lee’s latest work was,”Black Panther” which was the first Marvel flick to feature an African American protagonist.
