Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Tickets On Sale Monday

The day has arrived, Star Wars fans.

Fans have been anticipating Rogue One: A Star Wars Story since The Force Awakens was released to positive reception. As news had continued to unfold, ticket sales were still unclear. Until now. According to the official Twitter account, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story tickets go on sale Monday, November 28. Tickets will go quick; let’s not forget the man who purchased every ticket at a theater for The Force Awakens Premiere.

Rogue One has a lot to live up to. This will be the first film to feature a cast of non-force sensitive heroes. Luke, Anakin, and Rey have all starred in the previous films, but now we have the faces of Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor, important figureheads in the Rebel Alliance. This will allow us to get a sneak peak into the Rebel Alliance and their crucial involvement in the destruction of the empire.

The movie is expected to rack in a whopping amount: $130 Mil plus according to The Hollywood Reporter. This is a low ball. The Force Awakens destroyed records with its record-breaking $247.9 million opening weekend. After 12 days, film 7 of the franchise shattered $1 billion. If you factor these numbers with the fact that Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back are considered some of the best films of all time, the film is expected to be nothing short of wonderous.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story soars into theaters December 16th.
