Journalist Maria Antonieta Collins from the Univision Network visited the country Israel to host a documentary show name, “Tierra Santa, Donde Todo Empezó.” It is translated in English as “Holy Land, Where Everything Started.”
She focused on the protagonist of the “Holy Land” who was Jesus. She explained how he spoke in parables as her camera crew traveled to important places related to Jesus Christ. A place name, “Holy Sepulchre” is where Jesus body is; Two Muslims are responsible to opening the door and closing it everyday. There’s been dispute between different religions at the “Holy Sepulchre.” Some have doubted that that is the actual place of Jesus’ tomb. Somebody said they found the correct location, “The Garden of Tombs.” Right by “The Garden of Tombs” there is a calvary that is said is probably the exact spot of where Jesus’ body is.
A house name “The House of Mark” is known to be the last place in which the 12 disciples along with Jesus had their last dinner together. There is too a place name, “Mary’s Tomb” the mother of Jesus’s tomb. And the most well recognized church of Israel, “Annunciation of The Basilica.”
According to the scriptures, for the romans Jesus was crazy. “Orchard of Gethsemane is known as the place where Jesus was sold. Judas was the one who sold Jesus to those who wanted to murder him; A prophecy that had come to pass was that one of Judas betraying Jesus.
“Jesus Christ Prison” is where Jesus was held when found guilty. Pontius Pilate wasn’t sure of killing Jesus. Although he made his final decision, he gave in Jesus to be crucified. A priest described the weapons used at the moment of Jesus crucifixion to be torturing enough to almost tear his skin away.
At about 3.5 million tourists visit Israel per year. The majority want to touch and feel what is said to be the place where Jesus walked, prayed, and lastly died leaving evidence of some sort to have many believe in his existence on earth.
