It looks like there will be a Part Two movie for Black Panther. The Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed to Entertainment Weekly on Friday, March 9, 2018.
He stated to Entertainment Weekly that there’s nothing he can share about the second film just yet. “Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one,” noted Kevin Feige.
Feige also stated that Marvel is in the hopes to produce more films with “new locations and lands that have cultural significance all their own,” and he too added, “….tell stories that represent people who perhaps haven’t seen themselves portrayed in this light in the past.”
Black Panther thus far has been on the worldwide front. It has surpassed $1 billion in sales. It also stands as the 33rd movie in history.
