Crunchyroll is premiering two new animes today. Both of these animes are manga adaptations. The first is Yoshimi Satō’s Fumikiri Jikan  or Railroad “Crossing Time”. The manga is a series of short stories that feature conversations a young women has while waiting at a railroad crossings. Its will premiere on Monday April 9th at 10:15 AM PDT.

The second is Golden Kamuy by Satoru Noda. The series is the ultimate survival of the fittest tale. Golden Kamuy is a story of sociopathic, battle-scarred, dangerous assortment of soldiers, serial killers, and scoundrels searching for Ainu gold in Japan’s northern Hokkaido. Sugimoto is a veteran soldier of the Russo-Japanese War, a war that was a meatgrinder of trench and machine-gun fighting. Referred by those who knew of him as “immortal,” he had the audacity to charge the enemy every time and survive whatever punishment he took. His partner, Aspira, is an Ainu girl who knows the lay of her Hokkaido home better than any Japanese settler or adventurer. It will premiere on Monday April 9th at 9:30 AM PDT.

Both of these mangas have flocks of loyal fan and if your looking for a new anime series why not give one of these a try.
