Why do you think your here today?
“To waste some time what else, no I’m grabbing some free Starbucks & answering your questions. In hopes you can identify who I am”.
Who are you?
“I’m Censored, why would I want to expose myself, only to be forgotten. Everyone thinks, because they can google something from their phone they know everything. When the reality is you don’t know much of anything. The internet had the potential to be great, it seems our youth is losing braincells by the second. The fact you don’t know who I am will leave a question burning in your mind, you’ll want to know, and you wont forget”.
Okay Censored what is it you do?
“I design things, in my head or actual blueprints and sketches. I hated math growing up, but when you realize its there in the jewelry I make, fashion I create, even the music I compose. I’m glad I was able to grasp the basics and teach my self the rest. I’m not a designer, I’m a creator of just about anything.
When you bring designs to life, what exactly do you mean?
“it’s in front of you, these articles of clothing, this necklace, this painting, this song, this photograph. All these things may not have been sketched out but they were once concepts. Something I dreamt of, or thought of in a cab. I feel cutting funds for the Art’s in school; is cutting the child’s ability to formulate concepts and creative thoughts”.
You keep referring to the education in the country is there a reason for that?
“Of course there’s a reason. Teachers were so busy being nazis it took an hour and a half to take attendance. We were constantly being interrupted by some trouble maker, the teacher would throw a fit. Then we’d all suffer the consequences, with extra homework. If you think education is expensive try ignorance. I’ve met kids in California who don’t know how to do laundry. I’ve met a high school graduate in Pennsylvania who thought of was spelt ov. So this whole country needs to step it up. Learning should be something you enjoy. There really isn’t any benefit to torturing the minds of the future, or taking your pms out on your students”.
How did you cope with this education system?
“I knew I needed to have some control, class president is where I began, graduated 2 years early despite my incompetent instructors. Once I was in high school I was already well in touch with my artistic side. Art wasn’t just an outlet. It was a means of being creative, of being me. Fashion along with any other type of design immediately grabbed my attention. Project based learning was the ideal situation for me”.
In high school he created Unisex Designer Clothing. It was an instant hit, with names like Burberry, Prada, and Christian Dior; there’s no room for error. He is also very talented at communicating and not censoring his thoughts. That’s not all he brings to the table, he helps others work together on, graphics, and websites and interior design as well. He believes through art we can learn, express, and discover who we really are.
It’s how well you can work with difficult people,
that determines if your a good writer. Thanks Censored it was a pleasure.
Peace Out & Stay hydrated.
