Sonic Eclectic’s new hit show The Femme Spot spoke on the 2015 Grammy Awards a couple weeks ago. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards was set to air that night and “The Ladies of Femme” all agreed that it was something to be excited for. Stylish stars lit up the red carpet as press flickered away hoping to catch a nip slip. New and old tunes filled the Staples Center seating 18,118 music lovers. Sam Smith stole the show in a classic, black Armani suit. The 22 year old soul singer walked away with 4 Grammys that night including record of the year! Kanye hit the stage with his Grammy winning trio, Rihanna and Paul McCartney to perform their record “Four Five Seconds”. Although his performance was “chill” Kanye definitely wasn’t chill after hearing Beck win album of the year over nominee, Queen B, who was sitting unbothered in a black, lace Proenza Schouler gown. The Grammy winner of Best R&B performance for “Drunk In Love” also rocked a pair of Balenciaga shoes and, Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Rihanna shocked us all on social media, floating over the red carpet as a giant pink luffa. Its all love RiRi but please stay “BadGalRiRi”! Bad Girl Ri was gone at the Grammy Awards and instead we got a girl that just left her quinceañera! The cotton candy pink, layered, poofy, cupcake- looking gown by Giambattista Valli was fun and different from the usual sexy, “cledgy ” (classy and edgy) style Rihanna gives us.
