Melvin’s Frontman Says “Montage of Heck” is BullS#!t!

Say it ain’t so! Buzz Osbourne, founding member of the Melvins and personal friend of Kurt Cobain has slammed the recent documentary released about the rock star. The Brett Morgan directed doc, titled “Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck” was released in early May on HBO and recieved praise from audiences everywhere for its intimate protrayal of Cobain. Osbourne believes that in using footage of Cobain, we were only able to see the side of Kurt Cobain he wanted us to see. Osbourne was quoted saying “That’s the one thing no one gets about Cobain — he was a master of jerking your chain.”

Buzz Osbourne recently spoke out against the documentary to The Talkhouse, calling “90% of the film bullshit.” In addition to his previous comments mentioned above, he also questions Cobain’s undiagnosed stomach issues. Many Nirvana fans know that Cobain struggled and suffered for years with mysterious stomach pains that he claimed were only “cured” by taking copious amounts of heroin. It is said that these pains were a factor in his suicide. Osbourne says “He made it up for sympathy and so he could use it as an excuse to stay loaded. Of course he was vomiting — that’s what people on heroin do, they vomit. It’s called ‘vomiting with a smile on your face.”

Crazy accusations from someone who was known to be a close friend of the late rock star. Interesting that some attention was finally brought to Cobain’s “stomach problems.” Hard to believe someone in one of the most popular bands of the 90’s had trouble diagnosing a seemingly mild ailment, even with all the power, money, and resources he had. There have been many rumors, stories, and accusations surrounding Kurt Cobain and his death. Some more believable than others. Still waiting on responses from Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Do you think Buzz is full of shit or telling the truth? Let us know!
