DC fans, the time has once again come. CNN — by way of DC Comics and the beautiful folks over at CBR — is bringing you lot the full list of solicitations for the month of May 2016. All the beautiful artwork, plot synopses and other product info of more than 130 items can be viewed below.
With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice lying just around the corner for March 25, the month of May holds promise of being strewn with Bat and Supes-centric titles (not altogether uncommon to begin with, but…). Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will be leading the charge, along with everyone’s favorite psychotic cutie Harley Quinn, who will be appearing in titles just ahead of the release of Suicide Squad in theaters.
The often polarizing ‘New 52‘ brand will be getting some burn in May as well, for they will have a slew of ‘New 52’ themed variants for titles such as Norm Rapmund and Brett Booth’s run on Aquaman, Ben Oliver’s Action Comics, Francis Manapul’s Detective Comics, Batman by Rafael Albuquerque, Babs Tarr’s Batgirl, Flash by Jesus Merino and David Finch and Matt Banning’s run on Wonder Woman (to name a few).
Saturday, May 7 will also mark the return of the annual Free Comic Book Day, in which DC will have a couple free titles for you lot to check out at select stores (score!).
As always, stay plugged in to SE for more Comic Nook News as it develops.
