We have just received word, by way of the Hollywood Reporter, that author and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Dark Shadows) has been chosen to write and direct the upcoming film version of the Flash.
Along with his involvement in the Flash, Graham-Smith is also involved in two upcoming projects; Beetlejuice 2 and the Lego Batman Movie, with the Flash being Graham-Smith’s first foray in the director’s seat of a feature film.
Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, We Need to Talk About Kevin) will 
star as Barry Allen, the titular scarlet speedster, with the movie itself slated for release on March 3, 2018. Prior to this, Miller will make his debut as Allen in next year’s superhero mash-up Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will be released on March 25, 2016. And all this, before the climax ofJustice League: Part One, which is scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.
