The premiere of Batman: The Killing Joke at San Diego Comic-Con and the limited Fathom Events screenings held an intriguing glimpse at what lies next for Warner Bros. Animation. New footage and crew commentary for the upcoming Justice League Dark has surfaced. Delving more into the realms of dark magic — aspects of the DC Universe less tread by the likes of Superman, Cyborg or The Flash — the Justice League Dark’s roster consists of magic based characters, such as John Constantine, Zatanna, Etrigan the Demon, Black Orchid and Deadman.
The sneak peek footage can be viewed in the player below.
Batman (for some reason) will also be appearing in the animated feature, and will be voiced once again by Jason O’Mara. Superman and Green Lantern (John Stewart) will also be making appearances.
Matt Ryan (known for the live action Constantine series) will lend his voice to bring the ‘laughing magician’ to the animated world of DC. Camilla Luddington (Tomb Raider) voices Zatanna, Nicholas Turturro will voice Boston Brand/Deadman and Ray Chase voices Etrigan. Currently, there is no word on who will voice Swamp Thing.
Justice League Dark is slated for blu-ray, DVD and VOD release this Fall.
