DC’s Animated Universe will be adding a bit of magic to their roster. By a bit, I mean the likes of John Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, Black Orchid and others forming their very own league. According to British Board of Film Classification, a sneak peek of Justice League Dark, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s next entry in their expansive animated film series, will be included with Batman: The Killing Joke.
Making their debut in DC Comics’ New 52 publishing initiative back in 2011, the JLD is a super team consisting of some of DC’s most notable magic based characters, with Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Frankenstein, Deadman, Madame Xanadu, and The Phantom Stranger among its ranks.
Currently, there is word on whether this animated iteration of the team comes as the precursor or marks the grave to live-action feature, which has been in development for some time now.
