The 59th Grammys started with the live performance of the artist Adele. Then James Corden the host of The Grammys, rapped for seven minutes.
After him, Jennifer Lopez introduced the first award of the night. It was for “Best New Artist.” The new artist that won was Chance Rapper.
More artists won a Grammy award. Others performed filling the night with great music. They gave recognition of those who were nominated in different categories.
The artist Weekend performed. Before his performance, two robots did an entry. In the middle of his performance, he was near them. His performance ended with white and violet shimmering lights.
Actor John Travolta popularized two artists. They were Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood. They did a duet performance. Nick Jonas presented “Best Post Duo Group” nominees. Jonas announced the winners to be “The Twenty One Pilots.”
Ed Sheeran performed his newest hit. Then came “Best Rock Grammy Award” nominees presentation and the winner for that category was David Bowe. Ryan Seacrest announced the Educator Grammy Award winner, a man name Keith Hancock.
Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother with what she called, “..a mother’s pride” introduced Beyonce to perform. Beyonce’s performance was set with a reflection speech of motherhood.
As soon as she finally sat down, she sang. It was a magical performance of roses. She placed one of her hands on her belly and sang a second song. It ended with these words, “..if we are going to heal let it be glorious.”
Nominees for “Best Country Solo Performance” were presented by Camila Cabello and another artist. The artist Maren Morris won that Grammy award. Bruno Mars performed and then Little Big Town for like 3 minutes. In order to present Katy Perry.
Another artist that Performed was an African American artist. His name was Williams who also won a Grammy award.
Performances ranged from different genres. Often with two artists on the same stage. Those artists were Marsen Morris and Alisha Keys. Furthermore, Lady Gaga and a metal band. Then a male country singer sang solo. Adele vocalized melodically for the second time. She did it to honor the artist George Michael.
An artist name Anderson with A Tribe Called Quest performed. A phenomenal tribute for a old artist was done by artists Andra Day and Little Big Town. In addition Demi Lovato and Tori Kelly sang with them too.
Then The Time did a tribute to artist Prince. After The Time sang, Bruno Mars performed. He performed for the second time.
Two time Grammy award winner of the night, Chance Rapper performed.
John Legend along with another artist sang. During his performance for a few minutes pictures were shown on a screen. It was from different artists who passed away. Those were artists that left an impact in the music industry.
The rest of the awards were as follow: Beyonce won for “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” Chance Rapper won his second Grammy “Best Rap Album.” Adele won Grammy for “Song of The Year” which was for her song Hello. Then she won for “Record of The Year.” It was because of her song Hello again.
Before the night ended, Adele became the third time Grammy award winner by winning for the category “Album of The Year.”
