Actors Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have reprised their iconic roles of FBI agents Scully and Mulder of the The X-Files. The classic series was about paranormal phenomenon and conspiracies and it aired from 1993 to 2002. It spawned a failed spinoff, The Lone Gunmen, and two theatrical films.
The reunited Anderson and Duchovny will star in a 6 part miniseries that will air on FOX starting this Sunday evening, January 24, 2016. The Sunday episode will be part one of a two part episode, with the second episode airing on FOX the next day, Monday the 25th of January, 2016.
Also returning is show runner Chris Carter, the creator of this multi-Emmy winning award series. How have the characters changed? How has the show changed? Will the new limited series have ratings close to the numbers it had when it was a powerhouse to warrant additional seasons?
Tune in Sunday night to find out. Check your local listings for time.
