Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilms have released the teaser trailer for the newest sequel to the epic sci-fi film series, which can be viewed below.
The Force Awakens reunites the cast of the original Star Wars films; Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa), Anthony Daniels (C-3P0), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2). Also starring are series newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou. J.J Abrams stands at the helm of this new Star Wars film series, with an official theater release date set for December 18, 2015.
